Big Talk (@makebigtalk) was born on the beaches of Santa Monica—from spontaneous, heartfelt conversations with strangers, right where the ocean meets the shore. Those simple questions led to meaningful connections, lifelong friendships, and eventually, a global movement dedicated to fighting loneliness and bringing people closer together.
Join us for the Big Talk Book Launch Party at Annenberg Beach House from 3–6 PM for an afternoon of music, creativity, and genuine human connection. Together, we’ll skip the small talk and dive into what really matters through playful, art-based activities, guided conversations, and community connection experiences.
The celebration will include live music, refreshments, a special reading and Q&A with author Kalina Silverman (including an introduction and moderation by NY Times’ Bestselling Authors, Hospice Nurse Julie and Roda Ahmed), inspiring Big Talk videos filmed right here in Santa Monica, and plenty of opportunities to meet new people in meaningful ways—no awkward networking required.
Come as you are. Leave feeling more connected!
